The breed when bought by people who dont know anything about them is when it "goes wrong." Staffies are not born aggressive they are born like every other dog, innocent, sweet and loving knowing no enemy. They love everything they can set their eyes on. A dog is a representation of what the OWNER has molded it to be. A puppy is a piece of clay can be molded into something gorgeous and sweet but also can go the opposite and this aggressive or guarding threatening nature is what the owner has taught the dog to do it knows no difference as its been molded that way by the OWNER and this ends up with a innocent dog in a shelter for simply doing what the "master" says. The dog ends up in a cell or a cage. A bit of love and care and training and socialization can create a family dog and amazing companion and a loyal solider or soliderette who would take a bullet for any member of their pack a breed as loyal as any other. A staffie is a softie at heart if given the slightest chance to show their licking loving nature.
